Holy Week Online
Join us for our online Holy Week worship services!
Holy Week is the highest week in our church calendar year, and although the pandemic will keep us from gathering in person, we will still remember and celebrate the very events at the heart of our Christian faith. The videos will be posted on our Church Facebook page, and then posted on this website shortly thereafter.
Online Stations of the Cross – During the week you can pray through the Stations of the Cross online. This devotional and prayerful journey through the Passion of Christ has been a meaningful part of the devotional life of generations of Christians, especially during Holy Week. You can pray through the Stations of the Cross at any time on Pastor Andy’s Website.
April 5 @ 11:00 – Palm Sunday. Our Sunday worship video will focus on Palm Sunday and leading us into Holy Week.
April 9 @ 7:00 – Maundy Thursday Prayer Service. We will remember the events of the night Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples, spent time in prayer, and then was betrayed and handed over to the authorities with a brief video and time of prayer.
April 10 @ 7:00 – Tenebrae is our Good Friday service. A Tenebrae is a worship time where the Passion story is read hymns are sung and the sanctuary is gradually darkened and stripped in order to commemorate the death of our Lord. We are going to livestream a simple version of the Tenebrae this year.
April 11 Holy Saturday a brief video will be posted on the evening of Holy Saturday that will anticipate the good news of Easter morning.
April 12 @ 11:00 – Easter Sunday Worship we will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus with great joy with our virtual worship on Easter Sunday. This year there will be a way for you to participate in the Easter celebration at home – so have your cell camera ready to take a snap shot of your morning worship!

WEATHER POLICY DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER
Please be advised that if St. Johns Public Schools are closed due to weather/road conditions during the winter months, the Church Office as well as Pilgrim meetings or gatherings at the church on that day/evening are closed/cancelled. Therefore, if the St. Johns schools are closed you will automatically know the church office is closed and all meetings/gatherings scheduled for that day/night are cancelled unless you are contacted and told directly that you are still to meet. On Sundays, the church doors will always be open for worship and the Pastor will hold a service with whoever is present. We do ask if the road conditions are questionable that you use your own judgment about coming out on them. Your safety is very important to us.
Every Wednesday and Friday
We will have a brief livestream video on the church facebook page.
You can also watch the ‘Bible and a Question’ videos from Facebook live Check out the archive here.

- You can give via credit card or bank account by using the Giveplus Church App on your phone for one time or recurring offerings (a small service fee is deducted by the provider).
- You can also set up electronic giving by clicking here.
- You can give electronically by contacting the Finance Chairperson (Dwight Pierson) for one time or recurring offerings.
